As a mathematics teacher, teaching solid shapes and their surface areas and volumes to 10th grade students are a less effortless job as compared to other topics. Even the syllabus concentrates on the numerical skills of the students Recalling the formulas and helping students practice the problems is the conventional focus of any teacher.The story with me, as a mathematics teacher, was no different. I wanted my students to enjoy mathematics rather than learning for the exams. I would often deliberate, “what can I do to make this session more enjoyable and engaging for my students?” Then, I happened to read the news about a new shape discovered by the scientists. The very first thought that came into my mind was to include something about this new solid shape in my next class. I started to read about the new shape and collected every information about it.
